Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: your name, email address and password, which is stored only in scrambled form.
• Your business: your shops, products, orders, courier accounts and team.
• Your customers: the names, phone numbers and addresses you enter for orders, and what customers enter when they order from your shop website.
• Payments: the bKash transaction ID and the number you paid from.

How we use it

Only to run Boolash for you: saving orders, booking couriers, printing, running your shop website, and sending account emails such as verification and payment updates. We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Couriers (Pathao, Steadfast): an order's delivery details when you book it, under your own account.
• The fraud check: a customer's phone number, sent to courier services to look up their delivery record.
• Reading pasted orders: the text of a message you paste, sent to an AI provider (currently Google Gemini) to read the order from it.
• Hosting: our servers, Cloudflare for product images and videos, and our email provider for account emails.

Cookies

The app uses a cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. Your shop website keeps a customer's cart in their own browser. We use no advertising cookies.

Your customers' data

You collect your customers' details for your orders, and you are responsible for having the right to use them. Boolash handles them only on your behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your data, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payments.

Keeping it safe

Every connection is encrypted, courier keys are stored encrypted, and location data is removed from photos when they are uploaded.
